You Are a Kingdom Asset: Carrying the Presence into the Marketplace
You entered this year as a Royal Priesthood—not just in the sanctuary, but in the marketplace. I know many of you are heading into workspaces that feel spiritually draining or even dismissive of the God you serve. It is easy to feel like an outsider when you are surrounded by a culture that doesn’t recognize your King.
However, your assignment at work is not just a career; it is a consecration.
Sanctification isn’t a one-time event; it is a daily "becoming." It is God’s continuous work of refining you until your character reflects the image of Christ. You aren't just there to perform a task; you are there to move God’s work forward. You are an ambassador in a foreign land, and your primary duty is to live in a way that makes the Kingdom visible.
Here is how to operate in your Royal Authority at work this week:
** 1. Exhibit Divine Personality (The Fruit)
Sanctification is the process of the Holy Spirit transmitting His qualities into your personality. When the office is chaotic, your peace is a testimony. When everyone else is sharp-tongued, your kindness is a weapon.
"But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control..." (Galatians 5:22-23)
** 2. Move in Spiritual Intelligence (The Gifts)
You have access to "Manifestations of the Spirit" that your colleagues do not. Whether it is a word of wisdom that breaks a deadline deadlock or a spirit of discernment that helps you avoid a trap, allow the Spirit to be active in your professional life.
"To each is given the manifestation of the spirit for the common good." (1 Corinthians 12:7)
** 3. Keep the Communication Lines Open (The Prayer)
Even when you cannot speak openly about your faith, you can pray without ceasing. Prayer is the master key that opens spiritual doors in hostile boardrooms and physical doors in stalled projects. If you are seeking a breakthrough, keep knocking.
"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you." (Luke 11:9)
