Hosanna—blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord
Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.
Today we remember Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem.
Before you move through your day, take a moment.
And give God praise for His KEEPING POWER.
He kept you this week. He kept you when things felt uncertain. He kept you when your strength was low.
“Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name.”
From the rising of the sun to the going down of the same, OUR GOD IS WORTHY.

Scripture for Meditation
Matthew 21:9 (KJV) — "And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest."
Beloved, those who lined the streets understood something we must recover: Jesus is worthy of our public praise, not just our private devotion. When you worship Him today, let your hosanna be full-throated and unashamed, for His name deserves the loudest proclamation of your heart.
Psalm 118:26 (KJV) — "Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD: we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD."
This is covenant language, family. Every blessing that has kept you alive this week—every provision, every protection, every mercy—flows from His holy name. To bless His name in return is not obligation; it is the natural overflow of a grateful heart.
John 12:13 (KJV) — "Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord."
Palm branches in Scripture symbolize victory and triumph. God has already given you the victory through Christ. Today, wave your praise like a banner—declare that you serve a King who has broken every power set against you.
Walking It Out
1. Declare one specific keeping this week. Write down or speak aloud one tangible way God protected or provided for you. Name it. Own it. This moves gratitude from feeling to faith.
2. Raise your hands in worship today—literally. Whether in your car, your home, or your church, physically lift your hands as an act of surrender and praise. Your body remembers what your mouth declares.
3. Text or call someone and share your hosanna. Tell one person how God came through for you this week. Your testimony becomes their encouragement and multiplies the praise.
A Prayer for You
Father God, I come before You on this Palm Sunday with a grateful heart, proclaiming Hosanna—Your salvation has kept me alive. Every breath I draw, every closed door You redirected me from, every healing You've granted me—I lay at Your feet in worship. Break the chains that still bind me; loose me from every stronghold of fear, doubt, and defeat. I receive Your breakthrough power now, in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.
