When Love Holds You Through the Pain
The other day, I spoke with a ROHO subscriber who had just lost his mother. As he shared the weight of his grief, I could hear the ache in his voice — the kind that sits quietly in your spirit long after the world expects you to move on. We prayed together, and when we finished, I sat in silence for a moment. Because the truth is, so many of us are carrying silent grief — missing people we can’t replace, reliving moments we can’t get back, trying to keep moving while our hearts still hurt.
But the Word reminds us that “there is no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal.” Even when your strength is gone, God’s love remains constant.
John 3:16 (KJV) For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
That love didn’t end at the cross — it lives with you now. It surrounds you when you wake up in tears. It holds you when you can’t find the words to pray. It whispers peace in the middle of the night when nothing else can reach you.
So today, I want you to take a deep breath and let God love you through the ache. You don’t have to be strong all the time, just be open. Because God’s love will meet you exactly where the pain lives, and it will not leave you there. Dear God,
You know my heart and the weight it carries. You see the tears that fall in silence, and You understand the emptiness that words can’t describe. Help me to trust that You are near, even in my sorrow.
Wrap me in Your arms of peace and remind me that my loved one is safe in Your care. Lift the heaviness from my spirit and renew my mind with the hope of Your promises. Fill me again with joy that comes from knowing You.
Guide my steps forward, one day at a time, until the memories that bring tears begin to bring peace. Thank You for loving me in my weakness and for being my strength when I have none.

Fill my soul again with the assurance of Your everlasting love. Send Your angels to carry my heart into Your presence, so that I may see Your glory and feel Your nearness once more.
Thank You, Lord, for being my peace in the chaos, my strength in the struggle, and my joy in the morning.
