Trusting God After You Have Received The Miracle. Lessons From A Blessed Believer

Share

God uses storms to change the direction of your life. it is not God's desire that you suffer, but it is God's will that you grow in your faith. What does your life look like after the storm? After the divorce, after the disappointment, after the health diagnosis?

It is the nature and destiny of life that Storms will come. Better still, perhaps you are coming out of a storm right now. Trying to form a future after the storm ends? What does your life look like after the storm?

Our storms might look different in this life, but they all offer the opportunity to change us, forever. And God can take what seems tragic and devastating to turn it around for good. It may not happen as quickly as we’d like, it may feel like a struggle, and we might find ourselves longing for another way, but blessing will come from it. For it’s the way God works. The “good” will shine through.

And we won’t ever be the same again. For the person who eventually walks out of the storm will be different than the one who walked in. We can be assured, that God’s work within us is never for harm, but to strengthen us, to build deeper character and faith, and to bring us out as “gold,” leaving lasting impressions for His glory in this world.

He never promised us this life would be easy, but He does promise that He is bigger than any storm we face…and He’s always working for good.

GOD is with YOU. Right in the midst of it all. GOD BLESS YOU.

Scripture for Meditation

Romans 8:28 (KJV) — "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."

Beloved, this is not a promise that all things are good—but that God works them together for your good. The storm itself may have felt like destruction, but God's hands were already shaping something beautiful from the ruins of what you thought would break you.

2 Corinthians 4:17 (NKJV) — "For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory."

Family, do not despise the work God is doing in you through this season. What feels unbearable now is being transformed into glory that will outlast your pain and speak to generations yet unborn.

Psalm 30:5 (KJV) — "Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning."

Your night is not permanent, and your tears are being counted. God Himself is watching over you in the darkness, and the dawn is coming—sooner than your weary heart can imagine.

Walking It Out

Name one specific way the storm changed you for the better. Write it down. Not the pain—the growth. Did you discover strength you didn't know you possessed? Did your faith deepen? Did you learn to lean on God differently? Acknowledge this transformation as evidence of God's work in your life.

Share your testimony with someone still in the storm. Your survival is not just for you—it is a lighthouse for another soul. Reach out to someone you know who is struggling and speak your truth. Your words carry the power of lived experience that no sermon can replicate.

Establish one daily practice of gratitude specific to your post-storm life. Each morning or evening, name one thing about your current season—no matter how small—that would not exist without the storm you survived. This trains your heart to see God's fingerprints on your rebuilding.

A Prayer for You

Father God, I come to You today with a grateful heart, even in the aftermath of my storm. I thank You for not abandoning me in the darkness, and I thank You for the strength You forged in me through the fire. Help me to see my scars not as marks of defeat, but as badges of Your faithfulness and my resilience. As I rebuild my life, grant me wisdom to construct it upon the rock of Your Word, and give me courage to trust You again, fully and completely. Let my life testify to the world that You are good, that You are faithful, and that You can turn even the deepest wounds into the greatest testimonies of Your power. In Jesus' name, Amen.
