Today's Sermon: "A River In Your Dry Season" Mid-Day Inspiration. ROHO Sermons
Here is a Scripture that has been blessing my soul. As you read this email, allow these words to sink into your heart.
"But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. So then death worketh in us, but life in you. We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak; 17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;" (2 Corinthians 4:7-15,17

Scripture for Meditation
"For we walk by faith, not by sight." (2 Corinthians 5:7 NKJV) Beloved, your dry season is not the absence of God's presence—it is the classroom where your faith is refined. When you cannot see His hand, you must trust His heart. This is where the deep work happens.
"The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 27:1 KJV) Family, even in the valley, even when the river runs dry, the Lord has not abandoned His post. He stands as your fortress, your shield, your ever-present help. Your circumstances do not determine His commitment to you.
"And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness." (2 Corinthians 12:9 KJV) This is the promise that changes everything. You do not need the river to flow before you believe. His grace meets you exactly where you are—insufficient in yourself, but complete in Him.
Walking It Out
Speak your declaration aloud today. Do not whisper your faith—declare it. Stand in your mirror and say: "I am the head and not the tail. I am not forsaken. I will not be destroyed." Your words carry power. Align your mouth with God's promise over your life.
Identify one area of your life where you have stopped believing. Write it down. Now write the Scripture that directly addresses that circumstance. Meditate on it for five minutes. Replace the lie of your circumstance with the truth of God's Word. This is spiritual warfare in its most practical form.
Call someone in your circle who is in their own dry season. Share this devotional. Be the river God sends to them. Your obedience to encourage another will strengthen your own faith and remind you that you are not alone in this journey.
A Prayer for You
Father God, I come before You today, and I declare that my dry season does not have the final word. You are the God who opened wells in the wilderness, who brought water from the rock, and who never leaves Your children without sustenance. I ask You to restore the river to my life—not just the circumstances, but the felt presence of Your Spirit that reminds me I am loved, chosen, and destined for greatness. Give me courage to stand when standing is hard. Give me faith to believe when my eyes say it is impossible. And help me carry the water of Your Word to someone else who is thirsty. In Jesus' name, Amen.
