The Challenge of Malachi: Recite This Scripture and Prove God

Share

This morning we commanded our souls to expect enlargement. But enlargement requires more than just prayer; it requires an act of challenge—a decisive move of faith that places the Word above your circumstances.

In the Book of Malachi, God issues a powerful, direct command to His people, inviting them to test His capacity to provide. This is the only place in the Bible where God tells you to “prove me now herewith.”

Your seed today is not about supporting the Ministry; it is about activating the floodgates of increase over your own life. We want you to sow this offering with a verbal declaration, reciting the promise and releasing God to perform His Word.

“Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.”

Scripture for Meditation

Malachi 3:10 (KJV) — "Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it."

Beloved, God Himself invites you into a covenant transaction. He is not asking you to hope—He is commanding you to prove Him. When you give with faith and declaration, you are not begging; you are challenging the Almighty to keep His Word. This is the only invitation in Scripture where the Creator asks you to test His faithfulness.

2 Corinthians 9:6-7 (NKJV) — "But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver."

Your seed must be planted with joy, family. When you sow with a declarations of faith, you are not giving reluctantly—you are partnering with Heaven's economy. God does not measure your gift by its size; He measures it by the faith and gladness in your heart.

Proverbs 22:9 (KJV) — "He that hath a generous eye shall be blessed; for he giveth of his bread to the poor."

Generosity is not poverty; it is the posture of one who trusts God's supply. When you give with a generous heart, you are declaring that you trust the Lord more than you fear lack.

Walking It Out

1. Recite Malachi 3:10 aloud over your finances today. Do not whisper it. Speak it with authority and declaration. Let your ears hear your own voice challenging God to open the windows of Heaven over your household. This verbal act is a covenant declaration—it aligns your mouth with your faith.

2. Make your seed offering while standing and speaking the promise. Whether you give online or in person, do not simply donate. Stand, place your hand on your heart, recite the scripture, and release your offering as an act of faith—not duty. This transforms a transaction into a testimony.

3. Write down what you are trusting God to enlarge in your life, and keep it where you can see it this week. Is it your income? Your business? Your family's provision? Name it. Declare it. Watch for God's faithfulness. When you see the first sign of increase, give Him praise—it is evidence that Heaven is responding to your challenge.

A Prayer for You

Father God, I come before You this day as a believer who refuses to live beneath my covenant. I challenge You now, Lord—I sow my seed in faith, and I provoke the windows of Heaven to open over my life. You said it Yourself: prove You now herewith. So I prove You. I declare that my offering activates Your promise, and
