The Certainty of His Presence: Find Your Fulness of Joy
Blessed Sunday Morning BELOVED!!
Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised. From the rising of the sun to the going down of the same, God's name is worthy of all our praise. We celebrate the fundamental fact that God has been so good.
You can testify that God's goodness and mercy have kept you even when you did not know how you were going to make it. When you consider the blessings in your life right now, you know God is the source of every good thing.
Today, after a long week of work and the constant motion of life, your spirit is calling for one thing: certainty.
The world tries to offer you joy through temporary things: success, validation, or distraction. But these are small, fleeting pleasures. The Psalmist understood the definition of ultimate satisfaction: "in thy presence is fulness of joy."
This joy is not a feeling that comes and goes; it is a promise that is always available. The joy is full because God himself is complete, whole, and entire. There is nothing lacking in Him, and therefore, there can be no deficit in the joy found with Him.
As you prepare to gather for worship today—whether physically or spiritually—do not seek temporary relief from the pain of the week. Seek relocation to His side. Seek the intentional, complete surrender to His truth.
Your assignment for this Sabbath is simple: Be present in the presence. Settle your soul in the knowledge that at God's right hand, there are pleasures for evermore.
