Stepping out of the Shallow Waters---"Hearing From God"
God will lead you when you don't know which way to go. God will bless you beyond the limits of your fears for God's love for you is boundless. When God calls you to produce something great don't hesitate to plant the seeds because planting is the first step to growth. Genesis 26:12 says that, "Isaac sowed seed in that land, and in the same year reaped a hundredfold." We give to God in gratitude of what God has done and with expectation for what He's about to do. We plant seeds knowing that God will give the increase. Don't press the pause button on your miracle. Today is the perfect day to sow the seed that will grow into the harvest you deserve.
Scripture for Meditation
Genesis 26:12 (KJV): "Then Isaac sowed seed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the Lord blessed him."
When you step out in faith and plant your seed—whether that's your financial gift, your time, or your obedience—God promises multiplication, not mere return. Isaac didn't see a hundredfold harvest because he hesitated or second-guessed; he reaped abundance because he moved when God called him to move. Family, your small act of faith today opens the floodgates of God's blessing tomorrow.
Proverbs 11:24-25 (NKJV): "There is one who scatters, yet increases more; and there is one who withholds more than is right, but it leads to poverty. The generous soul will be made rich, and he who waters will also be watered himself."
God's economy works backward to the world's logic. The act of giving—of releasing what you hold—actually increases what comes back to you. When you sow into God's kingdom, you're not losing; you're positioning yourself to receive the overflow of heaven's storehouse.
2 Corinthians 9:6 (KJV): "But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully."
Beloved, the harvest you receive is proportional to the seed you sow. God is watching not the amount of your gift, but the faith and generosity behind it. Even $5 given in faith and trust activates God's supernatural power in your life.
Walking It Out
1. Make your seed today. Don't delay another hour. Whether it's $5 or more, step out of the shallow waters of fear and into the deep waters of trust. Plant that seed knowing God sees your obedience and will honor it.
2. Speak your expectation aloud. Before you give, declare what God is about to do in your life and family. Say it with your mouth: "I am planting in faith. God will multiply this seed. My harvest is coming." Words activate faith; faith activates God's power.
3. Share this word with someone who needs encouragement. Forward this devotional to a family member or friend who has been standing still, waiting for a sign to move. Your act of sharing becomes another seed sown into God's kingdom and into their breakthrough.
A Prayer for You
Father, I come to You today with a grateful heart, thanking You for every blessing You've already poured into my life. I'm stepping out of fear and into faith, releasing what You've given me as a seed into Your kingdom, trusting that You will multiply it beyond my wildest imagination. Bless this gift, bless ROHO's ministry, and let it bring deliverance and healing to countless souls who are desperate to hear Your voice. Let my obedience today be the beginning of my abundant harvest, and let me never again press pause on the miracle You have for me. In Jesus' name, Amen.
