Standing Strong in your God-Given Authority
Whenever I need to clear my head I go for a walk in the park near my house. Last weekend I saw a caterpillar while I was sitting on the park bench and I was fascinated by what was taking place. The caterpillar was shedding its outer layer and was about to become a butterfly--it was incredible. I stood there thinking to myself--"I wonder if the caterpillar knows what's happening right now?" It can be hard to recognize that you are changing when you are still in the middle of your transformation. Everything around you looks the same but inside of you there is a God-Ordained transformation taking place. Your life is becoming the fulfillment of God's promise for you. You are stepping into a season of Renewal and Growth. I can see your change, even if you can't see it for yourself.
The positive transformation God is working in your life requires that you must not waste any more time and energy on people from your past and on situations beneath your purpose. Because time is the one thing you can never get back. I challenge you to enter a season of prayer and focus as God begins to reveal your true purpose. Enter a season of receiving the things you have been praying for.
As the bible says, "He who began a good work in you, will perfect it unto the day of Christ Jesus". I want you to take just a few minutes and give God praise for what God is doing in your life. Even if you are not where you want to be, you're making progress, you're Transforming! For the race is not given to the swift, nor is it given to the strong, it is given to those who shall endure till the end! So this friday, We praise God for keeping us, for blessing us, for making us better and stronger. Has God ever helped you to hold on? Then Give God praise. I want you to meditate on the sermon I've included in this message. God Bless you.
Scripture for Meditation
Philippians 1:6 (KJV) — "Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ." Beloved, God does not start what He will not finish. The transformation you are experiencing right now is not random—it is the intentional work of the Holy Spirit completing His divine blueprint for your life. Trust the process, even when you cannot see the finished product.
2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV) — "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." You are not just adjusting who you are—you are being made entirely new. The old relationships, old patterns, and old limitations must fall away to make room for the glory God is birthing in you.
Proverbs 4:23 (KJV) — "Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life." Guard your focus, family. Every ounce of emotional energy you pour into yesterday's disappointments is energy stolen from today's blessing. Your heart is the wellspring of your future.
Walking It Out
Write down one person or situation from your past that has been draining your energy, and consciously release it to God through prayer today. Speak it aloud: "I release this to you, Lord. It is no longer my burden to carry." Let it go.
Identify one concrete promise God has made to you—through Scripture, through a word spoken over your life, or through His Spirit—and declare it back to Him daily this week. Write it where you will see it. Your declaration activates your faith.
Spend 15 minutes in prayer and praise specifically thanking God for the transformation happening inside you right now, even the parts you cannot yet see. Gratitude accelerates growth.
A Prayer for You
Father God, I thank You for the good work You are doing in this beloved child of Yours. Open their eyes to see the transformation You are performing, even when the external circumstances have not yet caught up with the internal work. Give them the courage to release what no longer serves their purpose and the wisdom to guard their heart with all diligence. Accelerate their destiny, Lord. Let them step fully into the season of renewal and abundance You have prepared for them. In Jesus' name, Amen.
