Seek and You will Find, Knock and the Door Will Be Opened For You

"O LORD, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth! When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour."

There are some days I have to remind myself, Even when I am at my lowest, God is at his Best. When I am weak, God makes me strong. When I am confused, God is Certain. When I fall down, God picks me back up again. As you start a new Week, God is speaking into your soul, PEACE BE STILL. Here is a sermon and a song that are blessing my spirit right now, I pray they will bless your life!

Scripture for Meditation

Matthew 7:7-8 (KJV) — "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened."

Beloved, Jesus is not speaking in riddles here — He is giving you permission to pursue the heart of God without hesitation. When you seek Him, you will find Him. Your seeking is not desperate grasping; it is the posture of faith that says, "God, I trust You enough to keep looking."

Psalm 34:4 (NKJV) — "I sought the LORD, and He heard me, And delivered me from all my fears."

Notice that David's seeking came before his deliverance. The enemy wants you to believe that peace comes first, then you'll seek God. No — you seek first, and the seeking itself becomes the place where fear loses its grip on your soul.

Proverbs 8:17 (KJV) — "I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me."

God is not hiding from you, family. He is waiting for you. When you seek Him early — in your morning, in your troubles, in your uncertainty — you will find a God who has been seeking you all along.

Walking It Out

1. Seek God First Thing Tomorrow Morning — Before you check your phone, before the day's noise rushes in, spend ten minutes in prayer and Scripture reading. Bring your confusion, your weakness, your burden to Him. Let Him speak "Peace, be still" into your specific situation.

2. Knock at the Door of One Brother or Sister in Need — This week, reach out to someone you know who is struggling. Don't wait for the perfect words — your willingness to show up is the knock that opens doors of healing and hope. Be the answer to someone else's seeking.

3. Write Down One Thing You're Seeking God About — Name it. Be specific. Not vague prayers, but real petitions. Then watch how God opens doors you didn't even know existed.

A Prayer for You

Father, I come to You today just as I am — weak, confused, sometimes broken — knowing that my weakness is the perfect place for Your strength to show up. I am seeking You with all my heart, and I believe You hear me. Grant me the patience to keep knocking, the faith to keep asking, and the wisdom to recognize Your open doors when they appear. Settle my anxious mind with the same peace that calmed the storm, and remind me throughout this week that You are at Your best when I am at my lowest. In Jesus' name, Amen.
