Pre-Thanksgiving Prayer Call Message
As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday, I’m reminded that this season isn’t just about gatherings and meals — it’s a moment to pause and welcome God’s presence in a fresh way. Before the celebration begins, I want to take time to stand in agreement with you in prayer.
THERE ARE MOMENTS IN LIFE WHEN YOU KNOW YOU’RE READY FOR NEW BEGINNINGS. IF YOU FEEL LED TO RESET, REFRESH, OR REFOCUS, I WANT TO COVER YOU IN PRAYER TODAY.
At 3PM, WE ARE CALLING ON EVERY PRAYER WARRIOR to join us in faith.
A STRONGHOLD is anything that tries to influence your life in a way that does not align with God’s best for you — spiritually, emotionally, mentally, or financially. Today, we are praying for THE BREAKING OF STRONGHOLDS and the release of clarity, direction, and God’s peace.
We are lifting up: • Strongholds that distract your purpose • Strongholds that challenge your confidence • Strongholds tied to old cycles • Strongholds connected to financial pressures • Anything attempting to block what God has prepared for you
I have watched God break strongholds in my own life — situations that shifted simply because prayer went ahead of me. That’s why TODAY AT 3PM WE WILL BE IN PRAYER.
I INVITE YOU TO SUBMIT YOUR PRAYER REQUEST. (mailto:ROHO@mailroho.io?subject=SUBMIT%20PRAYER%20REQUEST%20BELOW%3A%20Breaking%20Strongholds) Every prayer will be taken before the Lord with expectation and faith.
“You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.” — JOHN 14:14
I look forward to standing with you this afternoon.
Scripture for Meditation
"Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil." — Ephesians 6:10-11 (KJV)
Beloved, strongholds don't break through human effort alone — they surrender to the power of God working through you. When you stand in His strength rather than your own, the enemy's grip loses its hold. This Thanksgiving season, you are not fighting alone; you are armored and empowered.
"Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved." — Psalm 55:22 (KJV)
Every weight you've been carrying — the financial pressure, the self-doubt, the old patterns — can be laid at His feet. God doesn't ask you to manage these burdens; He asks you to release them. As you approach this season of thanksgiving, lay it all down and let His strength be your foundation.
"Therefore if the Son therefore make you free, ye shall be free indeed." — John 8:36 (KJV)
Freedom in Christ is not partial or temporary — it is absolute and eternal. When Jesus breaks a stronghold in your life, it stays broken. You are not destined to cycle through the same struggles; you are destined for lasting liberty and a new beginning.
Walking It Out
First, identify your specific stronghold. Don't pray vague prayers about "anything blocking me." Name it — whether that's anxiety about finances, shame from your past, doubt about your purpose, or fear of failure. Write it down. What you name, you can surrender.
Second, join us at 3PM in corporate prayer. There is power in agreement. Submit your prayer request to ROHO@mailroho.io so that intercessors stand with you. Isolated prayer has power, but prayer warriors united in faith moves the very throne of God.
Third, speak a declaration of faith before Thanksgiving Day arrives. Say aloud: "I am free from the strongholds that once held me. God has already prepared breakthrough for me. I walk into this season in clarity, confidence, and God's peace." Speak it until you believe it.
A Prayer for You
Father, I come before You on behalf of every person reading this word, and I declare that the strongholds assigned against their lives are broken right now — in the name of Jesus. Every distraction from purpose, every whisper of doubt, every financial pressure, every old cycle attempting to resurface — I command it to release its grip. Lord, flood their hearts with supernatural clarity and divine direction as this season of thanksgiving approaches. Grant them the courage to step into what You have already prepared, and let them experience Your peace in a way that silences the enemy's voice forever. In Jesus' name, Amen.
