No evil shall come near you — God Will Defend You and Keep You Covered
Today is a meaningful moment to invest in your own growth. ROHO exists because of people like you—subscribers who believe in the power of daily encouragement, spiritual clarity, and messages that meet you right where you are. Every day, we pour into your life with God’s Word and fresh insight to help you move toward the future God has for you.
Your giving strengthens this ministry. It helps us continue sending relevant and timely, Bible-based messages that inspire hope and renew faith. Your support matters more than you know.
When God places something valuable in your hands, don’t hesitate to plant it. Planting is always the first step toward growth. “Isaac sowed seed in that land, and in the same year reaped a hundredfold.” — Genesis 26:12
We give not only in gratitude for what God has already done, but in expectation of what He is preparing next. Seeds become increase. Faith becomes fulfillment. Delay only slows what God is trying to release.
If ROHO has spoken to your spirit, encouraged your walk, or strengthened your day, we invite you to help sustain this work. Today, we are raising the resources needed to continue sending these daily devotional messages to thousands who depend on them.
This is a good day to sow. This is a good day to believe again. This is a good day to plant the seed that will grow into the harvest God has promised you.
Scripture for Meditation
Psalm 91:10 — "There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling." KJV
Beloved, this is not wishful thinking—it is a covenant promise. When you position yourself under God's covering through obedience and faith, His protection becomes your reality. Evil may rage in the world around you, but it cannot penetrate the hedge God builds around those who trust Him.
Genesis 26:12 — "Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the Lord blessed him." KJV
Notice the timing: Isaac sowed and reaped in the same season. Your investment in God's kingdom is not lost to time or circumstance. When you plant with faith, God accelerates the harvest. He does not delay the blessings of those who honor Him with their substance.
Proverbs 22:9 — "He that hath a bountiful eye shall be blessed; for he giveth of his bread to the poor." KJV
A generous heart is a blessed heart. When you give to sustain ministry that feeds the spiritual hunger of others, you position yourself to receive God's overflow. Generosity is not about lack—it is about faith that God will multiply what you release into His hands.
Walking It Out
1. Examine your seed. Today, identify one area where God has blessed you with increase—time, resources, talent, or influence. Ask yourself honestly: Am I stewarding this blessing, or am I holding it? Write down one specific way you can plant this seed into kingdom work.
2. Take one act of sowing today. Whether it is a financial gift to ROHO, a tithe to your local church, or an investment in someone else's spiritual growth, do something tangible. Do not delay. The enemy wants you frozen in hesitation; God wants you moving in faith.
3. Declare the promise aloud. Stand and speak Psalm 91:10 over your life and your household. Let your ears hear what your spirit knows: No evil shall come near you. God has already declared your covering. Walk in that authority today.
A Prayer for You
Father God, I thank You for the covering You have placed over my life and my family. I recognize that every blessing in my hands is seed meant to be planted, not hoarded. Give me courage today to sow with faith, knowing that You will bring the harvest in its season. I plant my seed now—not from fear of lack, but from confidence in Your abundance. Keep my household safe, keep my purpose clear, and multiply what I release into Your kingdom. In Jesus' name, Amen.
