“Monday seed—open the windows while the sun is high”

Share

Monday’s mercy is still warm. Before the clock strikes twelve, plant a seed and watch the Lord multiply it before nightfall. * “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over…” – Luke 6:38

* “He that soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; he that soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.” – 2 Cor 9:6

Scripture for Meditation

Proverbs 11:24-25 (KJV)
"There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty. The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself."

Beloved, God's economy works backwards to the world's logic. When you scatter your seed in faith—whether time, talent, or treasure—you do not diminish; you multiply. The hand that opens is the hand that receives.

Malachi 3:10 (NKJV)
"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,' says the Lord Almighty, 'and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.'"

Here the Lord Himself invites you into partnership. He asks you to test Him—not in doubt, but in obedience. When you honor Him with your first and your best, the windows of heaven open wide, and provision becomes so abundant you cannot contain it.

2 Corinthians 9:7 (KJV)
"Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver."

The seed planted in joy multiplies in joy. God does not measure your gift by its size but by the gladness in your heart. Sow today with a smile, family—the harvest will return to you pressed down and running over.

Walking It Out

1. Plant a seed before noon today. Whether it is $5, a meal shared with someone in need, or an hour of your time poured into another person's life—move while the morning light is still bright. Do not wait for evening. Momentum matters; the enemy loves delay. Take one specific action today.

2. Write down what you gave and what you expect to receive. Keep a record of your seed and your faith. This is not superstition—it is testimony. When the harvest comes (and it will), you will have written proof that God is faithful. This strengthens your faith for the next season.

3. Refuse to speak poverty over your gift. Do not say "I only gave a little" or "It was not enough." Every seed planted in obedience is enough. Guard your words. Speak abundance, speak blessing, speak multiplication over what you have sown.

A Prayer for You

Father, I come before You on this Monday, and I plant my seed in faith. I refuse to hold back what You have given me to steward. Open my eyes to see the harvest You are preparing even now. Give me a cheerful heart and a generous hand, that I might become a channel through which Your abundance flows to others. Let my gift be multiplied back to me pressed down, shaken together, and running over. I trust You completely. In Jesus' name, Amen.
