Midweek Manna: What Do You Need God to Heal?
It’s midweek—and as we continue walking through Destiny DNA, today we pause to bring our deepest needs before the Lord.
This morning, we reflected on the man born blind, and how Jesus didn’t pass him by. He saw him. He touched him. He healed him. That same Jesus still walks among us—and He still heals.
Some wounds are invisible. Some of us have been carrying pain so long we don’t even recognize it as pain anymore. But God does. And He’s inviting you to bring it to Him.
Today, I want to personally invite you to submit your prayer request. Whether it’s for physical healing, emotional breakthrough, family restoration, or inner peace—we will stand in agreement with you.
At midnight, I will be interceding on your behalf. Let me take your name and your need before God.
A Prayer You Can Say Right Now: “Lord, I come to You not just for strength—but for healing. Heal the places I’ve covered up. Heal the wounds that time couldn’t touch. Mend my body, restore my peace, renew my heart. And if You’re using this season to shape me—give me the grace to trust You in it. I believe You still heal, and I believe You still see me. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
You are not alone in this journey.
Scripture for Meditation
John 5:6 — "When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?" (KJV) Jesus didn't ask the man at the pool what his problem was—He already knew. He sees your pain before you speak it, beloved. His question wasn't about diagnosis; it was about desire. Do you truly want to be whole, or have you grown comfortable in your brokenness?
1 Peter 2:24 — "Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed." (KJV) Healing isn't just future promise—it's present possession. Christ's stripes cover every wound you carry: physical, emotional, spiritual. When you were wounded, He was already wounded for you.
Proverbs 4:23 — "Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life." (KJV) The condition of your heart determines the direction of your healing. Guard it. Bring it to God. Let Him heal not just the symptom, but the source.
Walking It Out
First, name it. Write down one specific wound—physical, emotional, or relational—that you've been carrying. Don't soften it. Don't spiritualize it yet. Just write it down. God cannot heal what we refuse to acknowledge.
Second, speak it aloud. Today, tell someone you trust—a prayer partner, a pastor, a counselor—what you need healing from. Breaking silence breaks the power of shame. There is freedom in testimony.
Third, believe for it. Don't just pray for healing—begin thanking God for it. Write a verse of Scripture on a card. Carry it with you. Let your faith move from asking to receiving. Jesus said, "Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them." (Mark 11:24)
A Prayer for You
Lord Jesus, You are the same yesterday, today, and forever—and that means Your healing power has not diminished. I come to You now, not hiding anymore, not minimizing what I carry. Touch the deep places in me that no human hand can reach. Whether this healing comes suddenly or gradually, give me the faith to trust You completely. I thank You in advance for what You're about to do, because I know You are faithful and true. In Jesus' name, Amen.
