May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope
Even after Jesus left this earth, healing our thoughts remained a crucial ministry of the Holy Spirit through his disciples. Does this mean we can say, “Cancer, be gone,” and assume we are healed? No, it doesn't. Nor does it mean we can indiscriminately stop taking our prescribed medications. We can, however, become a part of the healing process by thinking about, “... whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.” (Philippians 4:8) We can declare God’s word over our lives.
During the past few weeks, I received one of the most incredible testimonies from a ROHO subscriber, who has recently started a new position at work and her testimony truly blessed me and encouraged me, I pray that it blesses you as well.
"ROHO ! I pray that this message finds you well, in the highest of spirits and best of health. I wanted to take this time and give my testimony. I have been following your ministry for sometime now and I try to read the daily inspiration as soon as they come out.I recently started a new job a few months ago. Scripture for Meditation
Romans 12:2 — "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." (KJV) Beloved, healing begins in the mind before it manifests in the body. When you align your thoughts with God's truth, you break the power of worry, fear, and despair—the very things that keep your spirit bound. The Holy Spirit is ready to renew your mind today if you will surrender it to Him.
Philippians 4:6-7 — "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and your minds through Christ Jesus." (KJV) Family, God's peace is not the absence of struggle—it is His presence in the struggle. When you bring your anxieties to Him in prayer, He stationes His supernatural peace as a guard over your heart, protecting you from the lies that would steal your hope.
2 Corinthians 10:5 — "Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ." (KJV) You have authority, beloved, to reject the thoughts that contradict God's character and promises. Every fearful thought about your diagnosis, your job, your future—you can take captive and replace it with the truth of Scripture.
Walking It Out
1. Write out three promises of God today that speak directly to your current struggle. Post them where you will see them—your mirror, your car, your workspace. Read them aloud each morning before worry has a chance to settle in.
2. Replace one anxious thought with one Scripture verse. The next time you catch yourself spiraling in fear or doubt, pause, take a breath, and speak a verse aloud—not in your head, but with your voice. Let God's Word be the last voice you listen to, not the enemy's whisper.
3. Text or call someone today with a word of encouragement. Share how God has been faithful to you. Like the ROHO subscriber whose testimony blessed thousands, your story of God's faithfulness will strengthen another believer who is wrestling with doubt.
A Prayer for You
Father, I come to You right now on behalf of everyone reading this word. Lord, we surrender our anxious thoughts to You—the worry about our health, our jobs, our future. We ask that You fill us with the fullness of Your hope and peace, not because our circumstances have changed, but because we are resting in You. Holy Spirit, renew our minds daily with the truth of Your Word, and help us to speak life over ourselves and others. Guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, that we may abound in hope through the power of Your Spirit. In Jesus' name, Amen.
