Lay It Down at the Throne of Grace --Intercessory Prayer Service
Tonight, I am calling on EVERY PERSON WHO BELIEVES IN THE POWER OF PRAYER to join me at 9:00 PM. This is not just another moment of prayer—this is an invitation to release what has been weighing on your heart.
We serve a God who still heals, still restores, and still delivers. PRAYER CHANGES THINGS. When we pray, heaven responds.
Jesus reminds us that what we bind on earth is bound in heaven, and what we loose on earth is loosed in heaven. Tonight, as we seek the face of God together, we are coming honestly and humbly, saying: “LORD, I NEED YOUR HELP. I CANNOT CARRY THIS ANY LONGER.”
There is something you have been holding onto—something that has kept you restless, worried, or overwhelmed. Tonight is your moment to place it in God’s hands.
Give your marriage to God. Give your family to God. Give your finances to God. Give your fears, frustrations, and unanswered questions to God.
You were never meant to carry these burdens alone. YOU HAVE BEEN CARRYING IT TOO LONG.
Scripture tells us to cast our cares upon the Lord, because He cares for us. Tonight, we do exactly that. We come believing that God hears us, that God sees us, and that God will move on our behalf.
So join us tonight. Come expecting. Come believing. Come ready to release.

Scripture for Meditation
1 Peter 5:7 (KJV) — "Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you."
Beloved, this is not a suggestion—it is a command rooted in love. God is not asking you to manage your burdens better; He is calling you to release them entirely. When you cast your care upon Him, you are declaring that His shoulders are stronger than yours, and His heart toward you is tender and true.
Matthew 11:28 (NKJV) — "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."
Jesus extends this invitation with His own hands. The weariness you carry—in your marriage, your finances, your health, your spirit—was never meant to be your permanent address. He promises not just relief, but rest, the kind that restores your soul and realigns your faith.
Philippians 4:6-7 (KJV) — "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and your minds through Christ Jesus."
When you pray instead of panic, when you give thanks instead of grumble, God Himself stands guard over your heart. That peace is not the absence of your problem—it is the presence of His power protecting you while He works.
Walking It Out
1. Write it down and release it. Before tonight's prayer service, take pen and paper and list every burden—every fear, every broken relationship, every financial pressure, every health concern. Don't filter it. Then, hold that paper and physically lay it down, saying aloud: "Lord, I am releasing this to You." Bring that paper to the service if you can, or burn it as a symbol of surrender.
2. Fast and pray from now until 9 PM. Skip a meal or two if you are able. Use that time—even just thirty minutes—to pray specifically for the healing and restoration you need. Let your hunger remind you that you are spiritually hungry for God's intervention in this area of your life.
3. Call someone and be honest about your need. Text a trusted believer, a prayer partner, or someone from your church and say: "I need prayer. Here is what I am carrying." Vulnerability is not weakness—it is the doorway to community and intercession. Someone is waiting to stand with you.
A Prayer for You
Father, I come before You tonight with everything that has exhausted me—every sleepless night, every tear, every question without an answer. I release it all into Your hands, trusting that You have both the power and the passion to restore what has been broken in me. Heal my body, heal my relationships, heal my finances, and most of all, heal my faith so that I can walk forward in the fullness of Your promise. Give me the courage to lay down what I cannot carry, and give me the peace that only You can give. In Jesus' name, Amen.
