Join Us in Prayer for Peace, Purpose, and Healing

In a world heavy with heartbreak and confusion — especially after the senseless violence we witnessed in New York City on Monday — I’m lifting up every soul searching for peace, clarity, and purpose.

This is a moment for collective faith.

At 3 PM today, we will pause and pray. We’ll bring our burdens, our questions, and our grief before God — trusting that even when life is at its darkest, His light still leads.

I invite you to add your name and your family’s names to the ROHO Prayer List. We’ll be covering every request with intentional intercession, calling on the God who still heals, restores, and answers.

“The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” — James 5:16 (KJV)

If someone in your life is overwhelmed by sorrow or fear — submit their name too. Don’t wait. Let’s go to God in faith and unity.

🕊️ Add your name to the ROHO Prayer List now.

Scripture for Meditation

Philippians 4:6-7 (KJV): "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and your minds through Christ Jesus." When fear and uncertainty try to settle in your spirit, beloved, this is your invitation to trade anxiety for petition. God's peace isn't the absence of trouble — it's His presence in the midst of it, standing guard over your heart.

2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (NKJV): "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, by the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God." Your pain, family, has a purpose. The healing you receive becomes the testimony you share — and that's how the kingdom advances even in darkness.

Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV): "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." When senseless violence shakes your confidence in tomorrow, remember this: God's thoughts toward you are still redemptive. Purpose isn't lost in chaos — it's refined through it.

Walking It Out

1. Add your name and your loved ones' names to the ROHO Prayer List before 3 PM today. Don't delay. Write them down. Speak them aloud. This act of faith says to your Father, "I believe You hear. I believe You care. I believe You move." Submission is power.

2. Pause at 3 PM and pray the scriptures above over yourself and your family. Not a rushed moment — take five minutes. Read them aloud. Let the Word work. If you're in a place where you can't gather physically, pray where you stand. God's presence knows no boundaries.

3. Reach out to one person today who is wrestling with fear or sorrow. Text, call, or visit. Share what God has spoken to your heart. Be the hands of healing. Remember: your obedience to comfort someone else is also your own healing.

A Prayer for You

Father, I come before Your throne with a heavy heart and a determined faith. The violence, the loss, the questions — I lay them all at Your feet, trusting that You are sovereign even when the world seems broken. Heal the wounded. Restore the grieving. Grant us all a supernatural peace that guards our hearts and minds, and bind us together in prayer and purpose. Let this moment of collective intercession move heaven and shift the spiritual atmosphere around everyone who lifts their voice in faith. In Jesus' name, Amen.
