If God Dresses the Lillies With Beauty and Splendor, How Much More Does He Love You?

When I was goriwng up, I spent a lot of time on my Grandparents farm. Surrounded by Land and Farm Animals, it was on this small farm in Jamaica that I had my first theological education. It was always incredible to me that you can put some seeds in the ground, till the soil, water the ground--and in a few months, a harvest appears. So many times preachers will tell you that your harvest is on the way, but one of the things I have learned from farming is that harvesting is not easy. Harvesting is actually hard work. There is a misconception in the Body of Christ that somehow God's blessings for us are supposed to be easy. God may desire to bless you with plenty, but that does not mean there isn't some work for you to do.

If you feel like you are in a dry season? Where your Finances has dried up, Your hope has dried up, Your ambition has dried up and even your faith has dried up.. I want you to get ready, because your harvest is on the way. Finances Will be restored. Dreams Will be restored. Love Will be rekindled....BUT it's time to roll up your sleeves,--Because it's harvest time.

God promises the impossible: “I will restore the years that the locust has eaten” (Joel 2:25). God’s people had suffered the complete destruction of their entire harvest through swarms of locusts that marched like an insect army through the fields, destroying the crops, multiplying their number as they went.

For four consecutive years, the harvest was completely wiped out. God’s people were brought to their knees in more ways than one. But “the Lord became jealous for his land and had pity on his people.” God said, “Behold I am sending to you grain, wine and oil, and you will be satisfied (Joel 2:18-19).

This wonderful promise for those people meant that years of abundant harvests would follow the years of desolation brought about by the locusts. God Will RESTORE YOU. ( I have seen in my own life God's amazing ability to restore the things I thought I lost.

MAKE THIS YOUR PRAYER TODAY ( “Lord, the locusts have eaten too many years of our lives. Too many fruitless years have passed. Now Lord, I ask of you, restore unto me the years and the resources I have lost. Restore my Family. Restore My Finances. Restore my Joy. In The name of Jesus Christ, Amen.”

Scripture for Meditation

Matthew 6:28-29 (KJV) — "And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these."

Beloved, Jesus is not telling you to be idle—He is telling you that worry steals your energy from the work He has called you to do. The lilies neither toil anxiously nor spin in fear; they simply receive what the Father provides. Your job is to work faithfully in your field, not to torture yourself with anxiety about outcomes you cannot control.

Joel 2:25 (NKJV) — "So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust, my great army which I sent among you."

God does not merely promise provision—He promises restoration. Those four years of devastation were real, but they were not final. Family, when the enemy has consumed your seasons, your finances, your dreams, the Lord Himself promises to make it right. That is the character of our God.

Proverbs 10:4 (KJV) — "He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich."

There is no blessing in laziness, but there is abundant blessing in diligent labor joined with faith. Roll up your sleeves not from desperation, but from the confidence that your work, combined with God's grace, will produce a harvest worth celebrating.

Walking It Out

1. Examine your current "field." What work has God placed in your hands right now—your job, your business, your creative calling? Write down three specific, actionable tasks you will complete this week with excellence and intentionality. Do not wait for the perfect season; harvest work begins where you are.

2. Replace one worry-thought with a work-thought. Every time anxiety about finances or provision rises in your mind today, redirect that mental energy. Instead of spiraling, ask yourself: "What is one thing I can do right now to move forward?" Then do it. This is how you partner with God's promise.

3. Speak restoration over your own life. Find a quiet place and declare aloud: "God restores the years the locusts have eaten. My finances will be restored. My dreams will be restored. I am working toward my harvest." Speak it with the authority of a child of the King, because that is who you are.

A Prayer for You

Lord, I thank You for the promise that You see my labor and You honor my diligence. Forgive me for the times I have allowed worry to paralyze my hands when You called me to work. Give me the strength and wisdom to till the soil faithfully, knowing that my harvest is not dependent on my anxiety but on Your faithfulness and my obedience. Restore to me what the enemy has stolen—the years, the dreams, the provision—and let me walk into this season of abundance
