I know it feels like God is silent
By now, the world is in full swing with Valentine’s Day celebrations. You might be seeing the flowers, the posts, and the grand gestures of others. It’s easy in moments like this to feel like you’ve been forgotten—like your "years of sowing" are still just dry ground.
I wanted to check in on you at the halfway point of your day. I’ve seen so many people let a single day of the year dictate their joy or their worth. But I need you to remember what I told you this morning: God’s timing is not man’s timing. Your restoration isn't tied to a calendar date; it’s tied to a Covenant.
I’ve learned that when you feel the most weary, that is the exact moment to put a demand on the harvest. If you are waiting for a breakthrough in your finances, your health, or your household, don’t just wait in silence—sow in expectation. I want to invite you to join me in a moment of faith. Sow a seed today that represents the restoration you are calling forth. Whether it's $14 for this 14th day of February, or a seed of sacrifice that stretches your faith, do it as a sign to the enemy that you haven't given up.
I am still standing in the gap with you, believing that the tears you’ve shed are watering a harvest that will blow your mind. Keep holding on. He is already on the way.
** A Mid-Day Scripture of Strength
Scripture for Meditation
Galatians 6:9 (KJV) — "And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not." Beloved, weariness is not a sign that God has forgotten you—it's often a sign that you're closer to harvest than you realize. The enemy wants you to quit three inches from gold, but your perseverance is a declaration of faith.
Habakkuk 2:3 (NKJV) — "For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry." God has a divine appointment set for your breakthrough. What feels like silence is simply the silence before He speaks creation into existence on your behalf.
1 Peter 1:6-7 (KJV) — "Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: that the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ." Your season of waiting is refining you like fire refines gold—you're becoming more valuable, not less worthy.
Walking It Out
Sow your seed today. Whether it's the $14 mentioned or a sacrificial offering that stretches your faith, plant something tangible as a covenant act between you and God. Write down what you're sowing for, and keep that record as a reminder of your faith when doubt creeps in.
Declare it aloud. Don't keep your expectation silent. Tell someone you trust what you're believing God for in your relationships, finances, or household. Speak it like it's already yours, because in the spirit realm, faith gives it substance before the natural world catches up.
Replace one moment of comparison with one moment of thanksgiving. Every time you see someone else's Valentine's post or celebration today, pause and thank God for one specific thing He's already done in your life. This shifts your focus from what you don't have to what you do have—and gratitude is the soil where miracles grow.
A Prayer for You
Father, I come to You on behalf of my family reading this, and I declare that the silence they feel is not abandonment—it is the stillness before Your power. You have not forgotten their tears, their prayers, or their sacrifice. I bind every spirit of discouragement, every whisper that says they should give up, and I release the spirit of persistence, the spirit of faith, and the spirit of expectation over their lives right now. Let them feel Your presence in this moment, not as distant, but as a Father who is actively working on their behalf. Open their eyes to see the harvest that is already growing, and give them the courage to sow with joy today. In Jesus' name, Amen.
