Good Friday Reminds You That No Matter What You're Facing, It's Not Over Until God Says Its Over!
WE ARE EASTER PEOPLE WHO MUST GO THROUGH GOOD FRIDAY. There have been moments in my life when if felt like everything I loved was snatched from me. I was living the life that I wanted to live and all of sudden, it was gone, because life has a way of being unkind. The bible says the rain falls on the just and the unjust. It is time to stop blaming yourself for the things that have gone wrong in your life. There is nothing you can do about the past, but there is everything you can do about your future. The moments when i was in despair left me confused about what was going to happen next. But my faith carried me through.
As Christians, you are not promised a happy life free of troubles, heartaches, and disappointments. The troubles of this world continue to prevail and attempt to cloud our faith. THIS IS WHAT GOOD FRIDAY REMINDS US. But God has promised he will be there even in the midst of our pain. Jesus understood this even when he was facing certain death. But he allowed his faith, grounded in the promises of God, to keep him secured and confident in the uncertainties of his troubles--even on the CROSS.
Your faith in GOD is the only thing that can carry you through this life. Trusting and depending on God will prove to be enough to live your GOD-ORDAINED LIFE. Try God and let God prove to you what it means to abide in God’s perfect will this Good Friday.

Scripture for Meditation
Romans 8:28 (KJV) — "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."
Beloved, this verse doesn't promise that all things feel good or look good in the moment. But it assures you that God is working behind the scenes, weaving even your deepest pain into His redemptive purpose. When your relationship feels fractured beyond repair, God is still at work.
Psalm 27:10 (NKJV) — "When my father and mother forsake me, then the Lord will take care of me."
Family, there are seasons when those closest to us disappoint us or withdraw. But this promise stands firm—God will not abandon you when everyone else does. He is the Father who stays, who sustains, who restores.
Hebrews 12:2 (KJV) — "Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God."
Jesus looked beyond the cross to resurrection glory. He endured not because the pain wasn't real, but because He trusted what God had promised. You can do the same with your broken relationships and shattered dreams.
Walking It Out
First: Stop rehearsing your failure. Write down one thing you've blamed yourself for in a relationship or season of loss. Then write across it: "God is not finished with this story." Burn that paper as a symbol of releasing the past to God's hands, not yours.
Second: Reach out to one person today—a family member, spouse, or friend—with a message of hope instead of despair. Tell them what God has shown you: that it's not over until God says it's over. Your testimony will strengthen them and anchor your own faith.
Third: Spend 15 minutes in prayer specifically thanking God for what He will do, not just what He has done. Speak your resurrection before you see it. Faith calls those things that be not as though they were.
A Prayer for You
Father God, I come to You today with a heart that has known Good Friday—loss, confusion, and the weight of uncertainty. But I thank You that You have never left me in that place. Give me the grace to trust You when I cannot see the resurrection yet. Heal my broken relationships; restore what feels irreparably shattered. Help me to hold on to Your promise that nothing is final except Your love. Let my faith in You be stronger than my fear of tomorrow.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
