Scripture for Meditation
Proverbs 3:9-10 (KJV) — "Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine." When you honor God with your giving—even when finances feel tight—you are declaring that you trust His economy more than your own lack. God is not moved by the size of your seed, beloved, but by the sincerity of your heart.
Malachi 3:10 (NKJV) — "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,' says the Lord Almighty, 'and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.'" God actually invites you to test Him in generosity. This is not a gamble—it is a promise sealed by the character of God Himself.
2 Corinthians 9:6-7 (KJV) — "But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Walking It Out

Examine your heart regarding money this week. Ask yourself honestly: Do I believe God will provide? Am I holding my finances so tightly that I cannot give? Spend time journaling your answer, and ask the Holy Spirit to soften any hardness in your heart around provision.
Speak a declaration of faith aloud. Stand before a mirror today and declare: "I am a giver, not a hoarder. God sees my seed, and He will multiply it back to me pressed down, shaken together, and running over. My financial situation is not final—God is still working on my behalf."
A Prayer for You
Lord, I come before You with gratitude for every blessing You have poured into my life. Even in seasons of lack, I choose to honor You with my giving, knowing that You are Jehovah Jireh, my Provider. Heal the broken places in my heart that doubt Your faithfulness, and plant within me a boldness to sow my seed with confidence and joy. I declare that my giving is not an expense—it is an investment in the kingdom, and You will return to me multiplied beyond measure. In Jesus' name, Amen.
