God Will Have the Final Say Over Your Life—Rest in That Truth This Sunday

Share

Grace to you on this beautiful Sunday. As you enter this new week, hold onto one truth: God will always have the last word concerning your life. Not people, not circumstances, not fear—God.

If you look back over the past week, you can see His protection everywhere. He carried you through moments you didn’t talk about, strengthened you when you were tired, and covered you when the enemy tried to distract, discourage, or drain you.

Today’s scripture comes from Psalm 77 (KJV):

“I cried unto God with my voice… In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord… I will remember the works of the Lord: surely I will remember Thy wonders of old.”

Even when the psalmist felt overwhelmed, he made a decision: to remember God’s faithfulness. And that’s your word today — God has not forgotten you. He has not changed His mind about you. He still intends to bring you into everything He promised.

So rest today knowing this: God sees you. God is for you. And His final word over your life is victory.

MUSICAL SELECTION--"BREAK EVERY CHAIN!"

Thank You for blessing me with another day. You have carried me through this entire week, and I am truly grateful. When I look back at everything You brought me through, I can see Your hand guiding every step. You showed up for me right on time—again and again. When I didn’t know how things would work out, You made a way. When I felt overwhelmed, You steadied me. You have been my help, my strength, and my protection from dangers I saw and dangers I didn’t even know about.

Lord, You have been good to me, to my family, and to my future. Your mercy has covered my life in every season. This year You opened doors no one could shut and met me at the point of my need. Thank You for joy this week. Thank You for peace surrounding my mind. Thank You for protecting and preserving my life. Continue to cancel every plan of the enemy concerning me and everyone connected to me.

Father, I ask for Your covering. Place a hedge of protection around my home, my family, and my children. Watch over me day and night. Keep me steady in the midst of confusion and show me the path I should take. Be my refuge and my fortress—not just today, but always.
