God Is Still On the Throne — Let’s Pray Tonight

Share

Tonight, we are lifting up every person who feels overlooked, disqualified, or worn down by life’s weight.

Maybe you’ve been battling silent storms. Maybe you’ve told yourself it’s too late, or that the best of your days are behind you. But I want you to hear this: God still has more for you. A second wind is coming. A fresh start is on the horizon.

This storm you're facing will not define you — and it certainly won’t break you.

Tonight at midnight, I’ll be taking your name, your needs, your burdens to the Lord in prayer. In a world full of noise and chaos, this is our moment to be still and know that God is still on the throne.

Let’s believe together that He will heal what’s broken, restore what’s been lost, and open doors no man can shut.

You may be tired. You may feel forgotten. But the breath in your body is evidence of God's Spirit still moving in your life. (Ezekiel 37)

Add your name to the prayer list now. ( Let’s stand in faith and expectation — because the same God who raised dry bones can breathe new life into your story too.

Scripture for Meditation

Ezekiel 37:3-4 (KJV) — "And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord God, thou knowest. Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord."

You are not beyond God's reach, beloved. Just as the prophet spoke life over dead bones in the valley, God is speaking resurrection over your situation right now. Your circumstances may look impossible, but a word from the Lord changes everything.

Isaiah 40:29-31 (NKJV) — "He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall; but those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint."

That weariness you're carrying—God sees it, and He's ready to exchange it for strength. Waiting on Him is not passivity; it's the most powerful posture you can take. Your second wind is waiting.

Psalm 27:13 (KJV) — "I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living."

Faith is what keeps you standing when everything says fall. In this very land, in this very season, you will witness God's goodness breaking through. Don't lose heart now—your testimony is being written.

Walking It Out

Write down three specific burdens you're carrying right now and place that paper where you'll see it daily. This isn't about dwelling on pain—it's about naming it so you can release it to God. Beside each burden, write one word that represents what you're believing God will do: Restore. Heal. Open.

Set a prayer alarm for midnight (or the time closest to midnight that works for you). When it sounds, pause whatever you're doing and spend five minutes in silent prayer or declaration over your life. Speak back to God what He's promised you. Let your voice agree with what your faith believes.

Text or call one person today who needs to hear this word. Share with them that God is still on the throne, and that their story isn't over. Sometimes speaking the word to someone else is what locks it into your own heart. Ministry multiplies faith.

A Prayer for You

Father God, I come before You tonight on behalf of every soul who feels forgotten, exhausted, and dismissed. You are the God who speaks life into dry bones, and I'm asking You to breathe fresh purpose and power into this beloved family tonight. Heal what's broken inside them—their bodies, their dreams, their confidence in Your goodness. Open doors that have been closed, restore what the enemy has stolen, and give them eyes to see that their story is far from over. Let them rise from this midnight knowing they are seen, they are loved, and they are destined for more. In Jesus' name, Amen.
