Focus on The Positive, God Still Has More Blessings in store For You

God is a Keeper! A few years ago one of my family members became very sick. Suddenly out of nowhere he began having heart issues. One thing led to another and the doctors told him he needed surgery. We were stunned!

I spent several nights in the hospital with him after the surgery as he was recuperating. The doctors told him he would need an additional surgery in 6 months. Between those 6 months, I saw him get up every day, try to regain his strength, go back to work and work on his relationship with God. As I prayed for him, I realized that his healing was still months away, but yet his spirits were high.

I realized that God can keep you even when you are not fully healed. God is a Keeper.

God will keep you in perfect peace, if you keep your mind stayed on him. If you need God's keeping power. I urge you to (mailto:prayer@roho.io?subject=SUBMIT%20YOUR%20PRAYER%20REQUEST%20BELOW%3A%20GOD%20IS%20A%20KEEPER) Tonight at 9pm, Join me for Prayer. I am standing in the gap for every person who needs God's deliverance and healing, right now.

Scripture for Meditation

Philippians 4:8 (KJV) — "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things." Beloved, your mind is a battlefield. When sickness tempts you toward despair, Paul commands you to deliberately choose what you think about. Focus on God's faithfulness, not your diagnosis.

Isaiah 26:3 (NKJV) — "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You." Perfect peace is not the absence of the storm—it is the presence of God in the storm. Your family member's high spirits during recovery came not from healing alone, but from a mind fixed on the One who heals.

2 Corinthians 4:17-18 (KJV) — "For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen." Family, your current struggle is temporary, but your blessing is eternal. God is working something in you that goes far deeper than your physical condition.

Walking It Out

Name three blessings you still possess despite your current trial. Write them down. Maybe it is breath in your lungs, people who love you, or the promise of tomorrow. Refuse to let your illness define your entire story.

Set a specific daily practice of gratitude — perhaps at sunrise or before bed, speak aloud three things you thank God for that have nothing to do with your healing timeline. This recalibrates your spirit toward what God has already done.

Reach out to someone else who is suffering and share your testimony of God's keeping power. Your pain becomes purpose when it ministers to another's pain. You do not have to be fully healed to be fully used by God.

A Prayer for You

Father, I come to You on behalf of every beloved who is waiting for healing, and I ask that You keep their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Give them the grace to focus on Your goodness, not their symptoms, and the strength to trust You in the waiting season. I speak peace over their household and declare that You are a Keeper, and what You keep is safe. Let them rise up each day with renewed hope, knowing that Your mercies are new every morning. In Jesus' name, Amen.
