"Every Effort to Devalue Your Worth Has Been Cancelled" You Are Worth More Than Silver and Gold
The Word of God says, "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7)
This week, a ROHO Subscriber, she was a mother of 2 children called me to thank me for sending her the daily inspirational emails. She said, "what I love about ROHO is that the messages are so timely and relevant. It reminds me that no matter what I'm going through, God has it". Those 3 three words stuck with me, because they capture the truth of our faith, that ye though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I shall fear no evil... It does not matter what you are going through today, God Has It. Financial problems--God has it. Wayward Children--God has it. Relationship Burdens--God has it. Sickness and health challenges--God has it. God is working in the background of your life fixing the broken places, mending the wounds. I am sending you a song I want you to listen to. It's titled "After This". I know it seems as though we have been stuck in place but I want to remind you that there will be Glory After This!

Scripture for Meditation
1 Peter 1:18-19 (NKJV): "Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot." Your worth was established not by the opinions of others, but by the blood Jesus shed on Calvary. No word spoken against you, no dismissal or rejection, can diminish what Christ paid to redeem your life.
Psalm 139:14 (KJV): "I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well." Beloved, you are not an accident or an afterthought in God's design. Every fiber of your being was crafted with intention and purpose, and God Himself declares your construction marvelous.
Isaiah 43:4 (NKJV): "Since you are precious in My sight, you have been honored, and I have loved you." The Father of Creation looks upon you and names you precious. This is not conditional love based on performance—it is the unchanging declaration of your infinite worth in His eyes.
Walking It Out
Speak your worth aloud daily. Each morning, look in the mirror and declare: "I am redeemed by the blood of Jesus. My worth is not for sale, and every effort to devalue me has been cancelled." Let your own voice reinforce what Heaven already knows about you.
Identify one relationship where you've accepted a false valuation. Is there someone—a parent, spouse, friend, or former partner—whose judgment has caused you to doubt your worth? Write their name down, then write across it: "God's assessment overrules yours." Bring this to prayer and begin the work of reclaiming your identity in Christ alone.
Share this truth with someone who needs it. Call or text one person today who you know is wrestling with their value. Send them this devotional or simply say: "God has it. You are worth more than you know." Your testimony becomes a lifeline for another.
A Prayer for You
Father, I come before You today declaring that every lie spoken against my worth is now null and void. I refuse to accept the devaluation that the enemy and this world have tried to place upon my life, because You paid the ultimate price to establish my worth in Your sight. Heal the places in my heart where I have believed I was less than, not enough, or unworthy of love and respect. Restore my confidence in who I am in Christ Jesus, and grant me the courage to walk in that truth boldly. Help me to extend this same grace to my family, my friends, and those I encounter who are struggling to see their own value. In Jesus' name, Amen.
