Don't Compromise Your Dreams, God Wants You To Have It All

Share

GOD WANTS YOU TO HAVE JOY TODAY. Joy is unlike any other emotion because you feel it in the moments when you least expect to feel it. You can be in the middle of receiving bad news and still have joy. We don't spend enough time talking and praying about JOY. GOD DOES NOT INTEND FOR YOU TO LIVE IN SORROW. Because the world didn't give you your joy and the world can't take it away. You will have difficult days and sleepless nights, but you can still have JOY through it all. Today's sermon teaches you that joy is a miracle you should celebrate. You should find time to rejoice in the fact that you've made it through dangers, toils, and snares. Never miss an opportunity to celebrate your joy.

In the midst of all the suffering around us, This Holy Week there so many reasons that we ought to have joy.

1. God Woke us up this morning. 2. God has given you enough grace and enough peace for every situation you are in.. 3. God will not put more on you than you can bear.

When I was younger I did not understand the blessing of waking up to see another day, but NOW, I realize that tomorrow is not promised, and if you are able to rise out of the bed, and move about on your own, you have enough reason to have joy. I want you to take some time and focus on the things in your life that still bring you joy. I know that no matter how difficult it gets, God will always give you reasons to keep your joy.

ROHO TESTIMONIES For quite some time I have been receiving your inspiring devotionals, which have on many occasions spoken into my life and encouraged me on my Christian journey. It's so good to receive these soul stirring yet comforting words like "God already knows what you need" "A prayer for New Opportunities" " just to list a few. Thank you for your dedication to sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have been inspired to be a blessing to ROHO by making a donation to help this Ministry reach the masses. Godspeed! Scripture for Meditation

Nehemiah 8:10 (KJV) — "Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength."

Beloved, joy is not frivolous—it is your spiritual armor. When the enemy whispers that you don't deserve to celebrate, remember that your rejoicing is an act of faith. The joy of the Lord makes you unshakeable.

Philippians 4:4 (NKJV) — "Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!"

Paul did not say rejoice when circumstances are perfect; he said rejoice in the Lord. Your dreams, your calling, your purpose—all of it is anchored in Christ. When you rejoice in Him, you're not denying your struggle; you're declaring that God is greater than what you face.

1 Peter 1:8 (KJV) — "Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory."

Family, this is the joy that surpasses all understanding. It flows from faith, not from fortune. Your dreams are worth pursuing because God Himself is worth trusting.

Walking It Out

1. Name three specific reasons for joy today. Before noon, write down three concrete blessings—waking up, breath in your body, one person who loves you. Read them aloud. This rewires your mind toward gratitude and anchors your joy in reality, not denial.

2. Share your joy with someone who is struggling. Call or text one person today who is carrying a heavy burden. Don't minimize their pain, but remind them that joy and sorrow can coexist. Your testimony of joy in hard times may be the spark they need.

3. Protect your dream from compromise. Identify one area where you've been settling or shrinking back from what God promised you. Today, take one small action toward that dream—write it down, research it, or speak it aloud. Refuse to negotiate with fear.

A Prayer for You

Lord, I thank You for another day of life, another opportunity to walk in Your purpose. I ask You to fill me with unspeakable joy—the kind that defies my circumstances and declares Your faithfulness. Help me to protect the dreams You've planted in my heart and refuse every compromise that would dim Your vision for my life. Give me courage to celebrate while I'm still climbing, and grace to keep moving forward even when the path is unclear. In Jesus' name, Amen.
