Don't Be Afriad of Touching Water, It Might Mean You are Stepping Out On Faith
As God called Peter to Step out on faith and step into the Water, God is calling you now to step out on faith in your own life. There are some things you have been praying for that seem impossible and God is telling you--"IT'S YOUR TURN!" God WILL PROVE JUST HOW GREAT HE IS IN YOUR LIFE. Today it is time for you to pour back into yourself. When you give, you are making an investment into your own growth. Your giving makes a tremendous impact in continuing the mission of our ministry. As you give today, your giving makes all the difference in our ability to keep pouring God's blessings into your life. Your gift of $5 is needed today! (
There's no better time than right now to do what God has called us to do. When God calls you to produce something great don't hesitate to plant the seeds because planting is the first step to growth. Genesis 26:12 says that, "Isaac sowed seed in that land, and in the same year reaped a hundredfold." We give to God in gratitude for what God has done and with expectation for what He's about to do. We plant seeds knowing that God will give the increase. Don't press the pause button on your miracle. Today is the perfect day to sow the seed that will grow into the harvest you deserve. Everything we have all belongs to God, honoring him by giving back and watch how he will turn your situation around! God sees and knows your heart and will bless your seed! Make an investment in your growth and reach new heights in your purpose.
Scripture for Meditation
Matthew 14:28-29 (KJV): "And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus."
Peter didn't ask for a guarantee, beloved—he asked for a word. The moment Jesus said "Come," Peter stepped into the impossible. Your miracle is waiting for you to move toward it, not away from it. Faith is not about seeing the whole staircase; it's about taking the first step.
Genesis 26:12 (KJV): "Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the Lord blessed him."
Notice that Isaac sowed in the very land of famine and struggle—the place where others saw only lack. When you plant your seed in faith, you are declaring that God's promises are bigger than your circumstances. The harvest doesn't come from perfect conditions; it comes from obedient planting.
Hebrews 11:1 (KJV): "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."
Faith makes real what you cannot yet touch. When God calls you to step into the water, He is asking you to make His vision real through your obedience. Your step is the proof that you believe before you see.
Walking It Out
Identify one area where God is calling you to step out. Don't wait for perfect clarity—write down one specific prayer, dream, or calling that has been stirring in your spirit. What is the "water" God is asking you to enter? Name it. Claim it.
Take a tangible step today, no matter how small. If you're called to ministry, teach one person. If you're called to start something, research one detail. If you're called to give, give that seed. Action activates faith. Don't rehearse reasons for delay—rehearse reasons for obedience.
Speak it over yourself with authority. Look in the mirror and declare aloud: "It is my turn. God is proving His greatness in my life. I am stepping out on faith, and God is with me." Let your own voice confirm what your spirit knows to be true.
A Prayer for You
Lord, I thank You for calling me into deeper waters, for inviting me to walk where I cannot see the bottom. Give me the courage of Peter and the faith of Isaac—to move when You say move, to plant when You say plant, and to believe before I see. Break off every spirit of hesitation, every excuse, every reason I have rehearsed for staying small. Today, I step into my calling, my purpose, my harvest. In Jesus' name, Amen.
