All Things Are Working Together For You God. God Is Ordering Your Steps and Directing Your Path

My Mentor, The Dean of Chapel at Morehouse College used to say, "ROHO: The answers come from the same place the questions do". For God has placed the treasures of heaven inside of you. God's treasures are not in the philosophies of this world. God's treasures are not on social media. God's treasures are inside of you. I know what it's like to doubt yourself after you have gone through a set-back, so I can tell you from experience that the key to a successful life is being able to dust yourself off and get back to the work God has placed in your hands.

There is something that God has put in your spirit and it needs to come out. I know you are at the edge, trying to decide if you are going to try again. Are you going to start that business idea that God gave you, are you going to pursue that new relationship, are you going to pick up the pieces and try again...The answer to all your questions begin with you taking 1 step forward. Here is a prayer to help you regain your confidence.

You know my heart and you know that I love you. I’m trying to do my best to follow after you, but sometimes I get tripped up. Sometimes I lose focus. Sometimes I forget who I am in you and start looking to the world to tell me who I am. On the days when my confidence is fading fast, build me up again. Remind me of the simple truth that you have called me for such a time as this. I can walk around confident knowing I am God's beloved. I can walk around confident knowing I am enough. I can live boldy knowing I have been called to do great things. Help me remember these things, wonderful Father. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Scripture for Meditation

Romans 8:28 (KJV) — "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."

Beloved, this is not a promise that everything feels good in the moment—it is a promise that God is working all things, even your setbacks and your seasons of doubt, into the fabric of your destiny. The treasures God placed inside you are being refined through every trial you face.

Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV) — "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths."

Family, when you feel lost between the question and the answer, remember: the direction comes from within because God dwells within you. Stop looking to the world to validate your next step—look to the Spirit who already knows the way.

Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV) — "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end."

God's thoughts toward you are thoughts of peace and purpose. That business idea, that relationship, that dream you are afraid to pursue again—these came from Him, and He has already secured the victory on the other side.

Walking It Out

Take one bold step today. Not ten steps. Not a plan for the next month. Identify one action—send that email, make that call, write down that business idea—and do it before sunset. Let the work of taking one step rebuild your confidence in who God says you are.

Write down three treasures God has placed inside you. Not talents the world has praised. Not credentials on a resume. What gifts, callings, or passions has God whispered to your spirit? Write them down, speak them aloud, and let that become your north star when doubt creeps in again.

Speak your identity out loud every morning this week. Stand in the mirror and declare: "I am God's beloved. I am enough. I was called for such a time as this." Your ears need to hear what your spirit already knows. Let your confession realign your confidence.

A Prayer for You

Father, I come to You right now, and I ask You to breathe fresh courage into the bones of everyone reading this word. You see them at the edge, considering whether to try again, and I am asking You to remind them of the treasures You have already placed inside them. Settle their minds about the world's opinion and fix their eyes on Your perfect purpose for their lives. Let them take that one step forward today with the boldness of the beloved, knowing that all things—even the setbacks—are working together for their good. In Jesus' name, Amen.
