3 Testimonies That Show God’s Hand at Work

Share

Every day, we are humbled by the stories that come back to us testimonies of how God is moving in the lives of His people through prayer and devotion. Today, I want to share three that show the power of faith at work:

One sister wrote after asking for prayer for her marriage:

“I can see a positive change in my husband. We’ve been married 11 years and I feel we are finally talking to each other again. I thank God for deliverance, and I feel more positive about my marriage. Praise God this is just the beginning of things getting better.”

Another woman, struggling financially, experienced an overnight miracle:

“I prayed for financial breakthrough because I was struggling. The next morning, $2,200 was deposited into my account. I was able to feed my kids breakfast that very morning. Hallelujah, praise God for His faithfulness!”

And finally, this powerful testimony of family healing:

“After so much pain in my family, your prayer was confirmation that God is putting His hand over us. We’ve been struggling with trust and resentment for years, but I can feel those chains breaking. I’m sowing this seed offering for me, my children, and my husband. Thank You, God, for healing and deliverance.”

Beloved, these stories remind us that prayer changes things. But they also remind us of the importance of standing together in faith. Each testimony is a seed of hope, and your support helps us keep planting seeds like these every single day.

With your gift, we can continue sending these daily devotionals, prayers, and encouragements to thousands of inboxes. Every dollar you give helps turn someone’s midnight prayer into a morning testimony.

Scripture for Meditation

"Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them." (Mark 11:24, KJV) Beloved, faith is not just hoping—it is knowing that God has already moved on your behalf. The sister who saw her marriage restored, the woman who received that $2,200—they believed before they saw the evidence. Your prayer right now is already being answered; you must simply trust the God who hears you.

"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28, KJV) Family pain, financial struggle, broken communication—these are not accidents in God's economy. He is weaving every thread of your suffering into a tapestry of redemption and restoration. What looks like defeat today is the setup for your testimony tomorrow.

"By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another." (John 13:35, KJV) These three testimonies are not just personal victories—they are witnesses to the world that Jesus is real, that prayer works, and that God still loves His people. Your restored marriage, your breakthrough, your healed family—these become proof of the Gospel to everyone around you.

Walking It Out

1. Pray a specific prayer today for one relationship that needs healing. Whether it's your spouse, a child, a parent, or a friend—name it aloud to God. Don't pray vague prayers; be exact about what needs to change and what you need to see. Write it down. God honors specificity.

2. Take one small action of faith in that relationship today. If it's your marriage, initiate a conversation without defensiveness. If it's a estranged family member, send a text. If it's a financial need, speak your need aloud to a trusted prayer partner. Faith without works is dead—show God you believe by moving.

3. Share these three testimonies with someone who is struggling. Let them hear what God has already done. Your witness becomes their hope. Testify boldly—it plants a seed of faith in their heart and invites God to move in their life too.

A Prayer for You

Father, I come before You today standing on the faith of these three testimonies, knowing that what He has done for them, He will do for me. I ask You to move in my relationships—to soften hearts, to restore trust, to break chains of resentment that have held us captive. Give me the courage to pray specifically and the boldness to act in faith, not waiting for perfect circumstances but moving because I believe You are already working. Thank You for every miracle You have performed, and I thank You in advance for the miracles You are about to perform in my life, my marriage, my family, and my finances. In Jesus' name, Amen.
