Welcome to The Daniel Fast 2024, DAY 14
In the heart of every believer is the desire to walk closely with God. We know that He, too, desires a close relationship with each one of us. A key to having a strong level of spiritual unity with God is living in agreement with His will for your life. In Genesis 5:22, we read Enoch and see that his life modeled a long journey, walking consistently with God, for it says, “Enoch walked with God three hundred years.” Enoch lived a powerful life. He was a man who walked in agreement with God’s will and lived a life pleasing to God (Hebrews 11:5).
It is one thing to know God’s will for our lives; it’s another to live in agreement with His will. In order to enjoy the best life that God has for you, you must first understand that God does not change, but we sometimes must. Let’s earnestly seek to know and agree with God’s will. The level of our agreement with God will determine the degree of closeness in our walk with Him. I believe firmly, that the moment our hearts are emptied of pride and selfishness and self seeking, and everything that is contrary to God’s law, His Spirit will come and fill every corner of your hearts. A PRAYER TO KNOW GOD'S WILL
Heavenly Father, I come before you because I desire to do Your will and to learn the plan You have for my life. I know Lord, that You have plans and purposes for my life and I do believe that the right path is already laid out for me, but I am not sure which door to push on or which path to follow.
I ask You to give me wisdom to discern what You would have me to do and I pray that the Holy Spirit would be my guide, to direct me where I ought to go. I truly want to be open to Your plans and purposes and I also want to wait for Your timing and not try to force my own will over Your perfect will for me--So please Dear God Give me Patience and Strength. Give me patience to wait for Your Divine timing, wisdom to know what to do and humility to seek only Your will and not mine. Lord, give me readiness to hear You still small voice above my own impulsive heart. Into Your hands I now commit my future and thank You Lord, for I know that You have promised to guide me every step of the way. In The name of Jesus Christ, we pray,

Daniel Fast Prayer Dear God, You are a righteous, holy, and just God, awesome and blameless in all your ways. Lead me in the way of your righteousness. Help me, God, to walk in your obedience so that I may live and flourish. Dear God, strengthen me to fix my eyes on Jesus. Let your word equip me to follow His example in resisting temptation. Deliver us from the schemes of evil, for you know how to rescue your people. Help me to take refuge in the shadow of your grace. God I praise you that with every temptation, you are faithful to give us a way to escape it. I pray that you will remove the blinders from my eyes. Enable me to understand the glorious light of the truth. I know that Jesus is my Lord and savior. God I pray that you would declare your supernatural power over my life and circumstances, so I will bring glory to your name. In Jesus' mighty name I pray, Amen.
